DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PRAYER

This prayer was written for the men and women that have written me over the years. They have found themselves in abusive situations both verbal and physical and they have no way to escape.

Please call your crisis hotline in your state for abuse.

You do not have to stay in this situation

PRAYER FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Lord, I have found myself in a marriage that is filled
with nothing but lies deceit, and abuse. I am, not just
being verbally abused by insults, put downs, and
accusations of jealousy, I sometimes am being abused physically.

Lord, help me, to see the right way to go. I know you do not want me in a situation that is harmful to me or my children. A marriage filled with hurt and without love is not what you wanted.

A marriage partner is suppose to bring me closer to You not away.

Please, help me to find help. Whether it is from a parish priest, minister, or marriage counselor. But help me. I am getting desperate I am afraid that this abuse will eventually end in my death and my children's.

Lord, help me, I pray, to guide me in the right path to find help for my family.

I love my spouse with everything I have. By some miracle please help us to be a happy family.
If it is your will.

If not please help me find shelter.
